Internet Academy

Internet Academy is a unique online public school that blends scheduled live Zoom lessons with asynchronous learning, allowing students to learn at their own pace. The academy is 100% online and specializes in building lasting relationships with students, offering a rigorous curriculum that follows the academic calendar of the Federal Way School District. Internet Academy's educational approach is designed to provide flexibility, with asynchronous lesson learning time that can be done around a unique schedule, as long as students meet the required 5.5 hours of learning per day and 27.75 hours per week. The school offers a range of core, elective, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses for grades K-12, making it an attractive option for students who value flexibility and personalized learning. As Washington State's first online public school, Internet Academy is committed to providing a well-rounded education and promoting diversity and inclusion, as evident from its celebrations of Black History Month and Women's History Month, as well as its hosting of STEAM Exploration Night.
