Valhalla Elementary School

Valhalla Elementary School, home of the Voyagers, is located in Auburn's Star Lake neighborhood and serves scholars in grades K-5. The school's mission is to provide an environment of high expectations, high support, and no excuses, where staff continually learn, lead, utilize data, and collaborate to ensure scholars have a voice, a dream, and a bright future. The school strives to be SAFE, KIND, AND PRODUCTIVE, and helps students be successful by explicitly teaching behavior expectations and rewarding positive behavior choices with Valhalla Bucket tickets. Valhalla Elementary offers a unique environment that fosters growth, learning, and development for its students, with key programs and features including early release on Fridays, enrollment opportunities for new students, and an attendance emphasis. The school also provides an array of school activities and clubs to enhance learning, and is part of the Federal Way Public Schools district, which celebrates diversity and inclusivity through events such as Women's History Month and STEAM Exploration Night.
