Mesquite Academy

Mesquite Academy, as part of Mesquite ISD, is a school district that prioritizes the removal of barriers and surrounding young people with the support they need to thrive and excel. The district's educational approach focuses on promoting dignity and belonging for all, regardless of cultural, gender, race, and ability-related differences, and its methodology includes offering a non-traditional high school experience through its school of choice, VHS, where students can choose from 16 different programs of study and earn multiple industry certifications, as well as dual credit.
