Wildwood Programs School
Wildwood School is a non-profit, private 853 school approved by the New York State Education Department, certified to educate students ages 5-21 in 22 classrooms across 14 counties. The school employs almost 200 staff and is comprised of four program levels: Elementary, Intermediate, High School, and Young Adult, each functioning as its own Professional Learning Community with an emphasis on student and staff learning. The school's educational approach is driven by each student's Individual Educational Plan (IEP), needs, and interests, including a blend of academic, social, employment, and functional skills. Key features include the Young Adult Program, supports and related services such as occupational therapy and physical therapy, and a tailored approach to make students as independent as possible.
