Scap Headstart

SCAP Headstart operates with a unique two-generation approach, focusing on both the child's development and the parent's ability to improve their life. This approach sets the school apart, as it recognizes the importance of supporting both children and their parents in achieving success. The school's key programs and features include comprehensive pre-school programs such as Head Start and Universal Pre-K for children aged 3-5 years, as well as home-based services and Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships. SCAP also partners with existing child-care centers and family child-care programs to improve the quality of infant and toddler child care for families with financial needs, providing services such as curriculum development, staff training, and family support. The school's mission is to promote the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language development of young children and families during the early years, with a special emphasis on families with financial needs.
