Northern Star Montessori

Northern Star Montessori is a school that follows the Montessori educational approach and methodology. The school accepts enrollment applications for preschoolers aged 2 and a half years (bathroom independent) through Kindergarten, as well as for their Summer Camp and Fall programs. The Montessori method emphasizes hands-on, experiential learning, where children are encouraged to explore and discover concepts at their own pace. The school's educational approach focuses on individualized instruction, practical life skills, and sensory-based learning, with key features including a preschool program, Summer Camp, and Fall program. The school's outdoor area provides space for children to run, climb, use fine motor skills, be creative, and explore year-round, with a goal of spending at least 1 hour outside daily for full-time programs and ideally 2 hours when the weather permits.
