River School House

River School House provides a warm, nurturing, and inclusive environment that fosters curiosity, confidence, creativity, and a sense of community for children ages 2.5-6 years old in Yarmouth, Maine. The school operates on a traditional school year schedule from September to mid-June and offers summer camps in July and August. River School House has a unique educational approach that blends pedagogy from Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and Montessori, often using the arts as a point of departure for exploration, and incorporates activities such as collaborative art projects, hands-on baking, yoga, and meditation classes.
