Baldwin Oaks Academy
Baldwin Oaks Academy is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment, guided by the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori and Dr. Donald E. Lyman. The academy's approach is rooted in the belief that the most important period of life is from birth to the age of six, and its mission is to provide a supportive environment that fosters growth and development. The school follows the Montessori curriculum, which is implemented from Toddler to Primary levels, and offers various programs, including an interactive Outdoor Nature Classroom where children can explore, build, create music, experiment with art in nature, garden, or find a quiet place to read or meditate. Additionally, the school provides a well-rounded education with programs such as foreign languages, American Sign Language, and yoga, and prioritizes the well-being and development of children by creating a balance between technology and traditional learning methods. The school's unique characteristics include a strong sense of community, a school family environment, and a beautiful natural setting with constant shade from ancient oak trees and three playgrounds.
